Support Groups
Supper Club
Blog
We run support groups at universities across the UK for students with eating disorders, which provide a safe, pro-recovery space in which to talk.

We run The Supper Club to help with the anxiety of making decisions about what to buy and what to eat when food shopping. Volunteers and friends of SRSH provide their favourite recipes, and we send out an email with a weekly shopping week and seven recipes to make the decision making process a little easier!

We also regularly update the SRSH blog and Facebook page. Our blog is a space for you and other friends of SRSH to share their thoughts and views on current topics and issues related to mental health. The Facebook page is full of links to current topics, interesting stories, websites, photos and SRSH updates.

Don't forget to check our calendars for one off projects that might be running!
Inspiration 4 Recovery
Read and share stories of recovery and aspirations for recovery.

Been handed an SRSH card?

You may have reached this page because you were handed an SRSH card. If this is the case, you might be wondering why you have been given this card, who SRSH are and how we can help you; hopefully the following will answer your questions.

Why have I been given this card?

The SRSH ‘reach out’ cards are designed for anyone who has a friend, or maybe someone they’ve spoken to a couple of times in lectures or seen in the gym, who they are worried might benefit from some help or advice with their eating. We at SRSH believe that everyone can be involved in breaking down the stigma of mental illness, and the best way to do this is by talking, but sometimes we know that finding the right words can be difficult, which is where the reach out card comes in.

The card is intended to direct people who might be struggling with an eating disorder to this website, where you can find information about our support groups which may be running at your university, other sources of help, or just general advice about coping with an eating disorder.

If you think the person who gave you this card may have got things wrong, and you are not having any problems with your eating, please don’t be offended; remember that the person who has reached out is thinking of you, which we think is great.

If you have been offended by receiving this card, feel free to drop us an email at admin@srsh.co.uk
